Default PayPal UK & Ireland Dispute Resolution Structure





Can anyone tell me where in the world PayPal claims are arbitrated?

I had a very dodgy call on a Significantly Not as Described transaction, siding with the buyer with only a few transactions under their belt, compared to our tens of thousands of transactions.

PayPal Business Support in Ireland answered. They then transfered it to somewhere in England for the Resolution Department and finally she put me through to the "Floor Manager" who was more of a prat.

Despite asking repeatedly to speak to the person who dealt with our case, they said "they are not in this building" and that "it's not possible".

Can anyone shed some light on this? Any tips from whistleblowers for getting through to the right person who really can deal with your case instead of speaking to some agent who has looked at your PayPal case for 1 minute despite it being 5 pages long and already defending PayPal?

Forgive me because I am a bit uneducated on how it works in the UK and Ireland. I am in the US.
Do you have an Ombudsman that you could contact with your problem?

It is very hard to get anyone to talk to on the phone with paypal and to get to talk to someone that is helpful is almost unheard of.

Try e-mailing to every e-mail address you can find to paypal.
