    Default Help, -$344

Normally, the negative balance was 314.. But paypal decided to slap an extra 20 on. I don't know where the extra 10 came from since there is no other cases. But I am only 15 and I sold this person virtual items, runescape gold.. I won he dispute then he filed a chargeback!! And won. So basically now paypal debt collections is calling me everyday. I have real information and worst of all my sisters credit card on the account I'm very worried she will get a bad credit score. Again I'm only 15 what can I do? I might be able to pay it off, but whenever I hear the phone ring I get anxious that it's going to be something serious .. Whenever my mother answers the phone and sounds scared .. I get vey very anxious I'm worrying about this debt all the time sometimes staying up for hours at night worrying. Never going to use paypal again

Your sister needs to call her credit card company and report it lost RIGHT NOW.

If the card is cancelled then it cannot be charged now can it?

Of course, PayPal will use any revenue source they can find to get the money. Any account you have registered with PayPal is vulnerable.

Problem is - if u make another, they will limit it. So use Google Check Out or another way..
Correct. PayPal illegally and without my permission withdrew money from my checking account to cover a $275 negative balance after someone that paid me for limousine service filed with his credit card company. It was 60 days after getting paid that this occurred. A Dispute was opened and PayPal took my money before settling the Dispute. Once my PayPal account was at a ZERO balance, I removed all the accounts in it and then closed it. I then cancelled all the credit cards I had registered with PayPal. I then filed an unauthorized transaction with my bank. My bank gave me back my money. PayPal then began hassling me me and insisting I log in to my now CLOSED account and make up the negative balance. Of course, you can't log in to a closed PayPal account. After a few go arounds with PayPal about this, I told them in no uncertain terms to leave me the fuck alone and that if they ever contacted me again, I would consider it harassment and I would sue them. When I started getting calls from a phone number I did not recognize (collection agency PayPal 'sold' the paper to), I answered a few of them and told the caller that they had the wrong number. Problem solved - I have my money, PayPal does not.

And do NOT register your email address with another PayPal account either. PayPal will then lock that account. If you own a domain name, do NOT register any email account with that domain name either as it will become locked.

Ok guys, you have really helped my stress.. so all I do is just ignore PayPal debt collections, not pay PayPal and close all accounts I can close? I will do that. But can't the debt collectors take me to court? that's what I'm scared of..

Debt collectors have a legal obligation to prove you owe the money and as you never borrowed money from them, they can't prove you owe them. Debt Collection Agencies 'buy paper' in an attempt to make money. Simply inform anyone seeking the debt that it is not a true debt and that you have never owed the money. Tell them in no uncertain terms that any further attempt to collect a debt you do not owe will be dealt with in a legal manner. Threatening to sue will get them off your back permanently.
