Thread: PayPal Buyer Tip (to avoid scams)

Default PayPal Buyer Tip (to avoid scams)

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS use a credit card (not debit card, PayPal funds, or PayPal Credit) to buy something from eBay if you have to use PayPal. If you have money in your PayPal account, transfer it to your bank account FIRST, before making a purchase. It is so hard to get a refund from eBay/PayPal if you don't use a credit card. At least with a credit card you can dispute the transaction if you get a bad product and the seller tries to stiff you!

yes that is the only way to shop online. Best of all is to avoid paypal completely and only deal with sellers who have a merchant account.
Now if there only was a way for sellers to avoid getting scammed.
