Default Why are we still using paypal

I can see by the number of complaints that others have had with paypal. I have had nothing but trouble with paypal every time i use it. I cant edit my account cause i can never have the right password. In addition i cannot change my billing address. All in all, paypal is the poorest site that i have ever used. There should be a way to get rid of paypal because of their incompetence.

It all sounds good what PayPal has to offer, Take a look on their website and it sure sounds great, all the protection they offer and no monthly fee. PayPal is delusional enough to claim: PayPal is the world’s most-loved way to pay and get paid. They must not read any online reviews. So this is what people sign up for but it sure isn't what you get. I would LOVE paypal is they actually provided everything they promised they will. BUT they don't even come close.

AMEN! ain't that the truth. I had no idea what I was in for when I signed up to be able to send my cousin some money. Easy it was not and in the end the money was returned to me a month and a half later. So basically Paypal had my money for a month and a half, that was the service they provided me with. I should have stopped using them but didn't......

The problem is that PayPal has become such a house hold name. And people don't think big companies like that will blatantly rip you off and get away with it. But PayPal does rip people off and get away with it all the time.

I still have a few frequent buyers who purchase from me who insist on only using Paypal, if that wasn't the case I would be s o done with them. PayPal does nothing for sellers and instead seems to be in on it with fraudulent buyers. Once upon a time when there weren't a gazillion other options Paypal wasn't so bad but they never evolved, just got worse.

service was never good but at least now there are so many options to paypal so not sure why people still stick with that piece of shit company. There is no such thing as a problem free paypal account.

Google wallet, Apply pay & skrill are great alternatives. Having your own merchant account would be the best way to go. We find using mobile processors such as square, capital one spark & payanywhere apps are good.

No matter what anyone says, cash is still king, with checks and money orders right behind cash.

I don't accept any kind of electronic payments even though I ship worldwide. Customers have the option of cash, check, money order, or in rare instances, Western Union, although I discourage WU when I can. I refuse to take Moneygram (they left me and a customer hanging for WEEKS over a measly $100 sale that the customer initiated by CALLING me - Moneygram eventually reimbursed the customer and the customer sent me a personal check to pay for the item I sent to her).

If a customer cannot live with my TOS, I don't want nor need them as a customer. My results going this way? Yes, I do lose a few sales, but in over 30 years I have never received a bad personal check. Best part is that I can sleep at night knowing that neither PP nor some other money hungry scammer is going to ruin my life.
