Thumbs up Law firm looking to add to class action suit

The law firm of Freed & Weiss LLC, is looking for Paypal users who have had their accounts frozen. They are presently launching suit on behalf of a couple of clients that Paypal piss*d off by being their usual arbitrary dumb ass selves. Looks like they want others to join in the fight. I figure that there may just be a few on here that really have nothing to lose by checking it out. Here's the link:

    Good luck and go get'em!!

Thank you for posting this story. I'll bet that there are a lot of people in this forum who will join the lawsuit.

It was discouraging to read that a bunch of sellers lost a case against ebay for the DSR ratings. Those ratings are really unfair.

All good and well, but people that have these issues are generally those with small transactions. It would cost more going up against Ebay than it's worth.

If this lawsuit succeeds it with be a good thing even for those small stakeholders who don't join in on the lawsuit. If Paypal is told that they cant legally hold the funds, a person should be able to have their funds released even if they are not in the lawsuit.
In the future Paypal will be forced to be a little more careful in the way it holds back funds and that should be better for everyone. While there are a lot of complaints (obviously) about Paypal, it came into being without rules and regulations (much like banks 150 years ago). It will take time and legal challenges to sort out what is right.
