I have only used paypal a few times. When I went to use it a last time it wouldn't accept my password. I've gone throught all the steps to change my password. When I open the email they send where you change it the message says it is out of service. I have been doing this for a week! Called the number I finally found and they just told me to do what I already did. Then was put on hold FOREVER with tech support who never answered. I don't have time to waste being onhold with paypal.
What am I supposed to do? Has anyone else had these problems? It is just one thing after another when it comes to paypal. |

I have read about your other problems you have had with Paypal as well and to be honest don't you think it is time to give up on paypal? You have had so many problems and only been with them for a few months.
It is not like it is going to get better. I would recommend what I signed up with for a real merchant account. I have had nothing but a good experience, obviously would not recommend some crap that sucked. I am now using merchantinc.com you should check it out it is a really good alternative to paypal. I know a lot of people that get unhappy with paypal end up going with google checkout but people be aware it is the same as paypal |

Click Problem with Login? below Log In > I’ve forgotten my password > Enter the email address registered to your PayPal account > Enter the Security code > Follow the onscreen steps.
This is per paypal. I take it that you tried this and that is when you received the not so helpful e-mail. There is also Sarah the chatbot but I would not hold my breath that she can help you. Maybe try I have forgotten both my email address and password; Go to Problem with Login? under the Log In button > I’ve forgotten my password and my email address > Follow the onscreen steps Good luck |

I was finally able to reset my password and log in to my account but it was a long drawn out affair with lot's of calls and lot's of being placed on hold. There were also the e-mails with the links saying they are out of service.
With all the money Paypal makes you would thing they can invest a little into their customer service system, may it be automated e-mails or people. Just something that works would be great. |

yeah and they have their call-centers in the Philippines. Bring the jobs to America. Enough with the outsourcing.
I really don't want my very personal information such as SSn and bank info floating around the world for everyone to see. No wonder paypal account get's "hacked" all the time. It is probably underpaid paypal CSR's in these poor countries selling our info for a few bucks to feed their families. |
