Default Paypal doesnt want our biz

In April of 2010 a family member paid for an eBay item (that I had won using their eBay account). PayPal accused us of fraud; after all steps in the resolution centre were completed on both sides limitation wasn’t lifted so we created new accounts - both of us. Now both of us have been limited and after numerous phone calls they basically said they do not want to do business with us. Well we don’t want to business with you either so f%^k you eBay and Paypal. There needs to be a good buyer/seller friendly alternative invented to eBay and paypal because we can’t let them just run all over us. I have been looking for an alternative (since they no longer want my business) and sadly I cant find anything remotely as well known as the ugly household named of Paypal and ebay.

I have been selling on Etsy using paypal but they have been nothing of a nightmare, paypal that is (of course). Limited account, siding with fraudulent buyer and the list goes on and on. I an now distancing myself from paypal and looking into a merchant account.

Paypal is NOT awesome. They are crooks that will hold their customers funds so that they can collect interest on the your money. And we are not fools other then being lead to believe that paypal offers protection for buyers and sellers.
Paypal is good for when it works but it does not work when they are holding my and other peoples money for undetermined amount of days when we are trying to provide our buyers with good service. And all the scammers and fraudulent buyers they let operate freely using their services and then when an honest person sells to a scammer paypal sides with the crock. That is not Awesome unless you are the crock.

Yeah really looser just go away. We are here trying to help each other with all the problems and headaches paypal has given us and if you got nothing nice or helpful to say then zip it.

For those who are truly done with paypal, like I was there are plenty of options out there. I signed up with merchantinc.com for a merchant account and it is working out great. However they are only available to the USA so an alternative for brittish sellers would be nochex or check out allpay.net

True, true. Paypal doesn't treat their sellers like they need their business and it is because in reality...they don't. If they piss off a hundred people a month and shut them down, or freeze accts...there are at least that many people signing up with paypal oddly enough. I think people don't realize there are other options for selling on ebay rather than Paypal...but there is and the options are better! Kiss Paypal good bye. Looser you should like go too.

So now what?! It is frustrating but what do you do, where do you go? They have a monopoly and we are all just a number that they can mess with when ever they want. I'm holding my breath that they don't decide to mess with me but I'm wondering how much longer I can go before they choose me. I had NO idea they did business this way. I just do my business but I'm finding that's what ya'll are doing too.
