Default Someone charged up my credit card through paypal

I was going to buy something with paypal and added a credit card onto it. How ever, I didnt buy anything then and forgot to remove the card. Sometime after my card had been used ALOT but I never had the time to do something for it. But the last week I made a dispute on paypal, first they said I would get my cash back, and like a day after they said my unauthorized claim is denied. Lost around 1300$ just for this and I didn't use my card. There must have been a breach in paypals secure site and someone got a hold of my credit card information and now I am up creek without a paddle

My guess would be there is more than one breach in paypals security system. For all you know it may very well have been some underpaid miserable paypal worker that took your information and went on a shopping spree.
Since paypal denied your claim there is nothing more they will do for you so, like boricapr said, file a chargeback with your credit card company and you should be getting your money back.

This is definately a horrible situation to find yourself in, however, on the positive side it was your credit card that was hijacked and you are protected by them for fraudulent activity. You will get your money back in a decent timeline. Make contact with them immediately though.

This could have been horrific had it been a paypal account because we all know how helpful paypal is in ensuring the buyer and/or seller is tended to diligently.

You call bank and cancel your card so no more moneys get stole from you. Then you tell bank you did not use card and charge was not allowed. Maybe you will wait a few months but your moneys will come back to you. If someone hacked your account again they can do it and again this can happen so no more using Paypal.
