Default paypal and payloadz

Hello
I have just joined and i am asking if anyone has/had a payloadz account linked with paypal to allow customers to automatically download their digital files.
I am asking because payloadz has changed their account options and is now a total ripoff. I want to cancel my account with them, but also want to know if the paypal shopping cart will still work on my website if i cancel the payloadz account.
Thanks for any help.
Jaycee

payloadz I am not too familiar with but I want to warn you about using paypal when selling virtual products.
There is ABSOLUTELY NO protection for sellers selling products that are delivered via e-mail or online.
If any one of your buyers decide to be shady say they did not get the product paypal will automatically side in favor of the buyer even if you have e-mails proving the product was delivered. Paypal only consider tracking numbers as Proof of delivery so if you have no tracking number you loose...every time.

I would advise you against using paypal if you are selling virtual products. Like jayman said there is zero protection for you if you use paypal. Get a merchant account instead and link that up to your website and you will be way better off.

I currently use them and had no issues signing up and getting approved for something which is taking the banks MONTHS to decide.

Worldplay declined me due to the nature of the parent company.

Only thing is, I dont let users pay with regular paypal when I setup the website payments pro. Does anyone know what paypal will do if they pick up on this? I absolutely dont want to allow users to pay with regular paypal.

I dont have experiance with payloadz and I wouldnt - they use paypals online payment system from what I see - I stay away from PP at all costs. Have you looked into a merchant account.

Thanks for your comments I agree that Paypal is getting a bit too big for its boots at the moment. If you ever have a problem with them they dont seem keen to solve the issue.

Also I sold a number of things on eBay with a normal PayPal account and got scammed because the seller said that they didnt receive the goods. PayPal only seems to accept tracking numbers and not a proof of postage. Reading on the internet it actually seems like a very common problem.
