Default I really need help with what to do

I have a question. I sold $16,000 worth of product to a customer and he paid to have it shipped through Yellow Freight. There were 3 skids. He received the 3 skids and signed the paperwork stating he received it and nothing was wrong with it. Now he is saying he didn't get $9,000 worth of the product. I have detailed pictures of all the items, and the skids, and all the invoices so I know I shipped all of the product and he received it. He is now threatening to file a claim unless I pay him $5,000 dollars back and ship him free product. What do you think I should do?

Don't pay him, do not let him extort you like that if there really were products missing he would have all ready filed a claim. You have 45 days to file a claim with Paypal, has it been 45 days yet since the sale?
If you have the paperwork showing he signed for it confirming nothing wrong with products I would say you got nothing to worry about. Let him file a claim.

Like Jess said, don't pay. tell him to file a claim, chargeback or take you to court but don't pay. And document and save ALL correspondence you have with this buyer.

What is being perpetrated on you is simply called extortion. Assuming your facts are straight and you have the pictures, signature of receipt, etc. you have no liability here. Someone is extorting you based on their assumption of your fear. DO NOT pay or give extra product under any circumstance. Let him file a claim. HOWEVER, keep in mind that it is Paypal's way to immediately support the buyer and make you jump through hoops. $16,000 is a large sum to anyone. Even though you are 100% in the right there is a chance Paypal will accept the dispute and immediately freeze your account and "hold" any balances you have ad infinitum. They could also go after your bank account to have funds removed and then "held". For the amount involved you should clear your Paypal account of funds and clear your bank account as well. Open a new account and move the funds over. There is too much involved..You shouldn't have to endure the inconveniences here but it is better to be safe then sorry. I have seen this before, unfortunately too many times. DO NOT advise Paypal of a new bank account. Keep the one you have opened but with a minimal balance. Hope this helps.

Smile I believe these are phantom buyers and they work for Paypal to Perpetrate fraud

I believe a lot of these cases where people getting ripped off on chargebacks and similar scenarios more than likely work with paypal. It is convenient for Paypal; it is already in the loop of a financial transaction; it is a financial transaction totally manipulated from start to finish by paypal;paypal has control from start to finish and paypal will not provide any records of any kind about anything according to many hours of recorded conversations I have with them. Record the conversations with paypal and post them everywhere for others to listen to so pthers can avoid being unneccesarily defrauded.

Paypal is evil and demonic. It really is !

here is a conversation I recorded and posted on youtube. you can hear the total disdain for myself, the law and how paypal is against what is morally right.
