Paypal limited my account after 3 years of perfect spotless activity
I ran my business through paypal for three years. I do credit repair for mortgage brokers around the country. I have had more than 1500 transactions totaling more than $130,000 without a complaint or refund.
Yesterday I got a notice that my account was limited..and would be cancelled if I did not take the link to paypal off my site. I tried to reason with them and was "denied".
They claim that their "acceptable user policy" prohibits credit repair. My claim to them was that 1) I explained to the agent what I did when I signed up for the merchant access in 2007 2) I have obviously shown that my business is legit through sparkling activity with no claims or refunds. 3) Their user policy was not part of the user agreement. Tuff luck pal take a hike!
Now they have given me just ten days to get a new merchant number...I want to sue them for restriction of trade. I googled "credit repair" and "paypal"...in just three pages of returned hits I found 15 credit repair companies using paypal. If they were truly administering this rule, how could any idiot miss a simple google such as this to find out who is out there? Three of these companies are law firms and most listed the paypal logo ON THEIR HOME PAGE!. I didn't have it anywhere on my site......
The three weeks is going to cost me about $5k...but I would like to sue these idiots for $2 million which is the earning potential through age 65.
Any ideas?
