Default Green Dot ?

I have a question. I saw that I can buy a green dot money pak and fill up my paypal account that way. It says no bank account needed but does paypal not require me to have a bank account or credit card in order to use my paypal account? If that's the case there is no perks in buying these money cards, just a hassle.

I tried that green dot and it did put money into my paypal account but paypal would not let me use my account until I verified it by linking my bank account or a credit card to my paypal account which defeated the whole purpose of green dot. Not moneypaks fault, it is just paypal that suck monkey balls.

I try this once before I link my bank account to paypal. I went to kmart, bought a MoneyPak Everything was fine until I try add the money from the MoneyPak card to my PayPal account. I entered all information correctly but then I get this error message:
"We were unable to verify the information you provided. As a result, you will not be able to use the MoneyPak to add money to your PayPal account. You have the option to:
Request a refund
Learn how to use this MoneyPak to pay a bill or reload a card

So I never try this again and kmart didnt give me moneys back for card.

Nothing about it (green dot) seems appealing to me. And I had never even heard of it before reading about it on this forum. Looks like Vladimir has had a bad experience with it too. Just like paypal...they try to hook you in with false promises and ease of use, etc....NOT. No green dot for me.

I would not put the green dot monypak to blame for this one. I would blame Paypal. Why would they let you replenish your paypal account with money pack if they are not going to let you spend it. Then they should just deny you to add the moneypak to your account to begin with.
