I am located in London and can't believe how horrid PayPal's business practices are. I am looking for a substitute to Paypal. Something that everything Paypal isn't.

Your not alone in thinking PayPals business practices are horrid because they ARE. However, the good news is that you don't have to use their services. I have a merchant account through National Merchant Bancard and am stoked with it. It would not work for your case because you do have to have business and banking in the United States. I found them through this site and it was a great suggestion. Maybe you will have luck with the ones this site recommends Allpay.net or Nochex I don't know much about them but since I'm happy with the one I went thru on this site you might be too.
