I'm going to set up an ebay store in the near future and I just want to know the meaning of high risk items? The store I'm going to set up is jewelry. Are these items fallen into the category "High Risk"? Can I use ebay paypal accounts that are sold on the forum for this purpose? If not what is the best solution to deal my items on ebay? Thanks in advance!

Jewlery is typically high risk, due to the high cost to the buyer. You have to imagine that if the buyer purchases a high price item and then does a chargeback a few days or weeks later, the risk of overdraft to the seller will be very high.

I think jewlery can sometimes be considered risky but it might depend. I think if you are advertising "authentic" diamonds or gold but it ends up being the cheap knock off stuff they can find out and you will be in a world of trouble, but maybe if you make something yourself from home or sell it as costume pieces you will be ok.
