I shipped a $2000 order to a lady in guam. She sent me $2000. Everything was fine, but for some crazy reason, paypal didnt want to accept my WORKING tracking number. I checked it like 10 times, it works fine. They insisted it wasnt the correct tracking number. The money was returned to her after she disputed. I guess she wanted to try to see if she could get her money back, and it worked! I sent screenshots of the USPS website showing the item delivered, also sent screenshots of the email where she tried to get me to send another box! She said she will pay me another $1000 when the second box arrived. Ive been constantly emailing paypal with no response other then their automated crap. If this doesnt strike them as suspicious, I dont know what does. Now, im left with a -$1600 balance. I just want my other 400. If paypal wants the -$1600 balance, their going to have to justify this case. I have placed no money in any banks since. Now im paranoid my credit is going to go downhill just because some theif wants free products.

I make it a practice not to ship to buyers overseas, you get into real murkey water with shipping and their policies. Paypal's protection for the sellers absolutely nauseates me. Have you been able to reach reps by phone? Ususally emailing worked better for me because it gave me a hard copy of evidence that I was attempting to contact them.

It is amazing all the ways you can be screwed over by paypal. YOU HAVE THE PROOF THAT THE ITEM WAS DELIVERED!!!!!! That is all they ask for so then why the hell would they refund the buyer. This is why I hate paypal.
I honestly don't know if it will affect your credit. I would think not, since paypal is not a traditional financial institution. They do not have to follow any of the federal banking regulation and are not FDIC insured. If they would for some reason opt to send you to collections you will just tell the collection agency that you do not owe this money and you can prove this. That should take care of you getting any more calls since the collection agency must prove you owe this debt. |

the paypal sleazeballs will always find a way to screw you even though you are right. Have you noticed that when you sell something over $250 there is no notice or message from paypal letting you know that signiture confirmation is required in order for you to be protected. Just something that they don't mention....until it is too late like in your case.
Good thinking about closing your bank account. Protect yourself from those bastards. |

I just had a nightmare with paypal on some transactions, the money was in my
account and balance was added and 10 days later they hold my money, i called the customer service and they said after investigation they will release the money and yesterday i found out case closed they reversed the money without' sending me any email or asking permission or anything. i called today and the answer is they found those transactions are from unauthorized sources, so they have to return to them This is completely insane, why customer have to be punished by their mistake or somebody else "s wrong doing. we provided the service and also got ripped of extra money?
