I sold a few items on ebay to a user who had some negative feedback. Several complaints stuck out to me, ''user requested refund after receiving items.'' So I requested a check because i knew better than to give paypal access to my bank account. Anyway i received the check and cashed it at a local market. The day after i cashed the check, my ebay account listed a case having been opened by the buyer. I checked my paypal account and my account is negative. I registered to the site with an old bank account that i dont use that had maybe 90 cents in it. Paypal emailed me and urged me to ''resolve this issue'' by adding funds to my account. i replied to the email with a picture of my balls. Its a small victory, but i screwed paypal out of about four hundred dollars.

Whether it was a small victory or a big victory, the main factor is that pay$hit got a taste of their own medicine. Good Job

Great story, made me laugh anyway! Right, you did give them a dose of their own medicine, I just hope you don't need paypal again whether it be now or four yrs down the road because you KNOW they have your information and until they get what they want you will be blocked. Small victory definately, just hope it doesn't come back to haunt you because paypal has a way of haunting people relentlessly.

Actually, PayPal will just sell the debt to a collection agency and wash their hands of the entire affair. After 6-12 months, you can open another PayPal account without a problem. Of course, their is no guarantee that you won;t get screwed by them again, as I did. After 2 accounts and much dissatisfaction, I've washed my hands of them. They even screwed over my sister when I registered a similar email address with them on her account.

Word of caution: If you own a domain name, never register another email that has that domain name with someone else's account as PayPal will assume it is you and go after them or block access (as happened to me and my sister). Example: if you own MyName@ThisIsMyDomain.com and PayPal blocks that email address, as soon as anybody registers another email address with @ThisIsMyDomain.com, PayPal screws them, regardless of actually owns the email or PayPal account.
