Default restricted account

recently had my pay pal restricted because they linked it to my brothers account which has a negative balance. After pay pals review...they tell me only way to resolve the issue is to pay my brothers balance. It's so frustrating..

any advise would be appreciated?

I think you have made personal payments. contact paypal and explain both accounts are not own by a same person, how you can get the responsibility of some other person's account?

The only way Paypal would have done this is due to you using the same CC/Bank info/Email of your brothers account. If your brother has a negative balance how much is it? This would not happen unless the Fraud Dept. had a red flag.

Just sayin....

Just sayin I have never used any of my brothers info nor would approve of him using mine. The balance was $141 and my brother claims that was due to paypal double and triple billing him. We do both live at the same address and use the same bank but there are no shared accounts.

There is no real solid evidence that you can provide to make Paypal satisfied, your going to find it extremely difficult to open your account. The best you can do is attempt to sweet talk them to give you your money, but most certainly you account is permantly closed.

The catch is, they will say to pay the debt and they will then review your account again. It doesnt mean once you pay them your account is automatically opened
