Default Please Help! I'm So Scared!

Hey, Well I sold a World Of Warcraft account over eBay right. I sold it for $910AUD and it was all well and good. For about 2 months is was fine but I just got a email from paypal saying that he initated a chargeback.

Omg! that fraud!. I closed my paypal account because i was so worried that they would take it from my personall bank account.

Can they do that?? I dont have $910 in my account at the moment either.

I just want some answers. Is my personal bank account safe? or should I withraw what I can before paypal takes it all because of some dickhead

What was the outcome? Did they touch your bank account?

Close your bank account now! They will take the money...remember that little box you ticked for the TOS to use paypal...well that more or less states "we can take your money out of your account whenever we please" and even if the money isnt there they will continue to try and take whatever they can.

I sold on E-Bay for 5 months, and now for a week my life is a living nightmare!
I sold a 4 piece ceramic canister set, packed it thoroughly, the buyer purchased insurance and besides horrible negative feedback wants me to refund her.

Well, before it got to that point I transferred all my money out of PayPal, have my accounts frozen at the bank and will close them tomorrow and open new ones. E-BAY, PAYPAL & "THEDISHLADYSAVHGA" ALL SUCK!!

I closed E-Bay (30 day waiting period), Pay-Pal has a chargeback pending to this psycho woman, they can try to do whatever they want...THEY WILL NOT GET MY MONEY!!!1

Take it out right away, freeze your checking, debit and credit cards linked with Paypal, CALL YOUR BANK ASAP! I don't know who the hell they think they are but they have met their match!

I had a buddy sell his Diablo 2 account, the buyer went through, cleared out of his gear, deleted the toon and then contacted PayPal for a chargeback. Well, he got it, but my buddy never had a bank account attached to the PayPal account.. Don't know how he pulled that off, but he did. So now he owes PayPal $450 USD. But ya, close your accounts.

IMMEDIATELY GO TO YOUR BANK and explain to them the problem and CLOSE that bank account completely and tell the bank what happens and some fraudulent company may take the money out.

NEVER NEVER NEVER link your Paypal account with a live account with money in it. In fact if you are doing volume (say $1000 a month or more which is peanuts) you REALLY should open a checking account in a different bank. Always withdraw all of your money out of Paypal and get it out of that account because just like what this person it saying, Paypal regularly will empty your account and if you were thinking you made a car payment or paid your electric with that money you are screwed

Once I paid a supplier $2000 with Paypal. I was doing like $300,000 a month. They froze my account but I'm smart and I didn't have much in it (maybe $600) and I emptied the bank account. Any chargebacks I got after that I just ignored. Well they went to my suppliers and people I bought stuff off and just took the money back for no reason

I know the system well and I get sufficient revenge thanks. Use their rules against them. It is very easy to rip the hell off of Paypal. I'm not suggesting theft. Just taking back what is rightfully yours that they stole.
