Default Paypal UK County Court Action : 2012

Paypal are holding £11500 of my business funds.
Money was accumulated by selling tangible goods through ebay , delivery taken by 99.7% of happy customers.

paypal reason for the hold ( they calling it a permanent reserve ) yes i can still accept money BUT i must leave this massive amount of money in the account at all times.

The reason being: protecting customers from a negative buying experience!

BS i say

SO i went too
moneyclaim.gov
filled in the forms and sent a court summons too their uk offices

whatís gona happen next peeps?

and yes i am claiming 0.8% daily interest on the money as Queen and country Law of the Land allow me too do so!

Thumbs down

Ah there is nothing you can do but to move your business. They had my account on a 15% rolling reserve; this was because I am in a service oriented business and have high volume. I was a member for 2 years before the RR was put into place; apparently after my monthly volume hit $30k they felt I became a risk. Youíre lucky to get interest on your account, I got nothing but grief. Iím in the process of sniffing out other companies, I feel panelizing long term clients for being successful is NOT the way to show your appreciation.

Best of luck to you.

Default Paypal Acc Restriction

Interested to hear what happens, PayPal have just limited my account for no reason. apart from me complaining to them on another issue. 1 and half of trade No complains no unresolved disputes. Even thought I told them what I was doing plainly every time I rang up.

Just got back a generic email relating to client disputes as a result.

words fail me and probably my business as well now...grrr

Default we need to stop these corperate gangsters

Hi,
I am new to this forum and am having a shocking time with the corporate gangsters known as PayPal. My woes first started back in in March when I was first had my business account frozen by PayPal I have been using PayPal for 3 years no problems, the reason I was refunding too many customers? No complaints no chargebacks, they asked for a host of information which I duly provided. Nothing! so as I use PayPal for both buying and selling I thought never mind I will forget using PayPal to sell goods I will just keep using it for purchasing goods using my own personal PayPal account, all was for fine until this September when my personal account was frozen, they asked for sales invoice etc. which was impossible to complete as I did not use this account for selling. after numerous phone calls they then emailed me informing me they were permanently freezing my account and I was barred for life from holding a PayPal account, obviously as I have done nothing wrong I challenged this only to be told, they did not have to and would not tell me the reason why it was there decision and that was that, honestly it was that blunt. Now I have an account with around £300 frozen that I can get access to and they wonít let me close the account surely this cannot be right if I open an account I have the right to close it , can I take them to court forcing them to close my account as they hold my bank account details
