Suspicious Activity...PayPals #1 trait
Here we are, high volumn time of year for selling on ebay right. Pay Pal should be so pleased with the cashflow coming in. I had been UNTIL I received a message from PayPal telling me my withdrawal and deposit activity is "suspicious". Money going into account...yes a little more than usual which makes me happy, and I take the money out to purchase more. Win/Win situation I'm thinking....NOT! Come on we're talking holiday season, do they not figure that into play?! Yes I am processing more thru Paypal but isn't that what we all want...growth?! Hell with that! Grow your business and be deemed suspicious activity!
Next step was to contact customer service for additional information...JOKE. Waste of time and talk about fuel my fire! Now I have to send in docs to show who I am and what I'm selling, etc...I've been doing this for 3 years and now they want me to dig up information to "prove" myself now. Until I do my account is on hold. The best time of year to be selling and I can't! Anybody out there have any luck with getting this done quickly or am I doomed? If ya ask me...Pay Pal operates a little suspiciously, not me.

Paypals processing volume was up 514% over this thanksgiving weekend compared to last year so it can not come as a surprise to them that people are selling more during the holiday season.
They are just a bunch of idiots that are looking for any reason to hold your money so they can earn interest on your money. Paypal doesn't care whether it is Christmas or not and that their sellers are counting on this money to be available. I would suggest that you follow the instructions given to you by paypal for the fastest solution to your limited account. That doesn't mean it will happen any faster but by not complying to their requests it will slow down the process of getting your account restored.

And in the meantime look into who might work better with your business. You have found that its not Pay Pay and that sucks big time. Just provide everything they ask even after all this time of processing with them so that you at least have access to your funds and then think carefully if you want to continue to tread on your tiptoes in PayPals system or if you might be better off getting a merchant account that doesn't switch up rules on ya AND doesn't hold onto your money. Just a heads up. Your not alone for sure.

Paypal is really so stupid. They are the only one with suspicious activity.
You sell more, you make more and you withdraw more and that is not suspicious just common sense. And paypal makes more money if you are selling more so what is their problem? Paypal Sucks!

How else would they freeze your money for 6 months so they can collect the interest and pay out withdrawals to other users... It's more or less a ponzi scheme.
