I had a problem with a seller that sent me chinese counterfiet Porsche parts. I returned the parts, seller said he would give me a full refund plus shipping. After 2 weeks Paypal told me today that I would have to wait another 10 days. I feel like I'm getting the run around.
Should I go to my bank and do a charge back, or wait on PayPal? After this nightmare, I don't want anything to do with Ebay, or PayPal. Anyone think I'm over reacting? |

Well welcome to paypal where run around is an important part of their business. At least you realized that paypal and ebay is not for you. If only the rest of the world would be that smart. Have you supplied paypal with proof of your return? I would wait the 10 days they said for you to get your money and if you don't have it by then then go ahead and do the charge back. It is just ridiculous for it to come to this for you. |

I can relate with you and NO you are not over reacting. This is your money by the way that Paypal is holding on to it. I also had an issue as a buyer where my shipment was delayed...waiting on Paypal to "process funds" after the lengthy delay in receiving my order when it did get to me it was not at all what I expected but I didn't want to go through the hassle of dealing with Paypal anymore. In reading more and more it seems they would have given me my money but at how much of a headache to me? I have come to determine that they are not worth my time and definately not worth my money! After the 10 days that they promised you...chargeback and move on. Wouldn't hold my breath but one can hope. Good luck.

PayPals need to review refunds at times before they can disburse payments. It should only take 2-3 days max however.
