I tried to buy an item over ebay. The seller said the shipping would take up to 7 weeks since he was sending it by ship. I figured this was an okay way to buy, so I bought the item off him, and it did not arrive. I emailed him, and he said just to wait for it for another week.
After a week I contacted him again, and got no reply. I did this for another 2 weeks hoping that he would reply, but he did not. Clearly this guy was a scammer.
Anyway Paypal refused to refund my money because it was after 45 days, but the guy basically used a loophole in the system to steal my money without getting caught for it.
