curiousgirl, I was awarded $861.18 in the Paypal litigation, my check was dated 7-26-2006, and was good for 180 days. Because of ILLEGAL items I purchased from eBay and paid by Paypal, I need to file claims to get the money I paid back, I was unable to receuive this check until 2-15-2008. The claims site is gone, I have send copies of the VOIDED check to appeals@paypal.com, because the places I am employed by, only make payment by Paypal, I am not getting paychecks from Feb, Mar, Apr, May, or Jun of 2008, Paypal continues to tell me I have to PAY them to get my accounts unlocked.

Does anyone KNOW the exact settlement? I am out my settlement money, and if I owed Paypal money on my accounts, they should have deducted it from the settlement they sent me.

How can I receive my payment?

How can I contact the Court who ruled in the Class Action settlement, to ORDER Paypal to unlock my accounts, and pay me what I am entitled to?

Do I need to sue Paypal in my own county court, for $5,000.00 plus costs and fees, for each month, and each payment I can not receive because they refuse me to access my accounts?

Paypal locked my accounts because they said they had chargebacks, even though I sent them, the proof of delivery, signature of the recipients, etc., and said I owed them money on my accounts in 2004. The lawsuit was settled 2 years later in 2006, I received the check, I can't cash it, it's expired, and Paypal still insists that the accounts they were ordered to pay me on, are locked until I pay them the money owed.

I have sent them emails asking them to deduct what I owe them from the $861.18, and deposit the rest of the money into both my accounts and unlock them, so I can receive my payments and they still refuse to comply with the COURT ORDER!!

I don't know what to do.

Who do I have to contact on the Class Action Settlement?

I have used pay-pal once to buy an USB port for my younger brother, that is first and the last time i use pay-pal, but I'm wondering why my credit card is charged every month???
I bought the USB early May 07, till now(NOV 07), my credit card still charged by nothing, do they have rights to do that? Is it some kinds of fees for using pay-pal??
Can anyone tell me about this?

Whatever happened to Ebay's strongarm tactics to close this site? We (50+ franchisees) are considering setting up a similar sucks site against our ex-franchisor.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

I don't understand you. On the one hand you say you can't live w/o paypal and then you say it irks you and doesn't make any sense. Also, what kind of solution is this? But that's your choice not mine. If you are happy with it, then I ask, what are you doing here?

That's because they have a monopoly. In fact, paypal is a prime example of why the govt was set up to prohibit monopolies. I recently bought a laptop on ebay and I guess the amount I paid tripped a flag that I had some money they could make some free intereste off of, because for the last 2 weeks they've frozen my $2400 and asked me to jump through hoops to get it back. I'm still trying to get it back.

They're a crooked company, there's no doubt about it. I'm going to create an Anti-Paypal web site as well when this is over; until I get my funds back I hesitate to piss them off too much.

If anyone has any advice for me, I'd love to hear it. Thanks

I just find it really funny that Brian Levine was whining on the first page about Paypal "unrightfully" thinking he's a fraud.

I'm out.

PaypalSucks, I read that the settlement says this - "5. PayPal will provide written documentation of account limited for over 45 days showing why and what information they have as to the outcome of their investigation. There are some limitations to this one as well... more later."

Well my account got limited a couple of months ago and I certainly did not see any of no. 5. No documentation provided, no reason why, no information of the outcome of investigation.....

They treat it as some mysterious although for the life of me - I did not do anything wrong. It's so bizarre that they they can not just do this. Its beyond bizarre - they should nto be allowed to do this.

I am a seller on eBay and have been using Paypal for a while. I received a chargeback from one of my buyers and Paypal debited me $500.00 causing me to go negative 500 dollars. They have sent me a letter from the NCO Financial Systems Inc. (1-800-688-7929) credit agency. I did not want my credit damaged so I have been paying them in payments. I now owe the about $350. What would be the best course of action? Thank you Soldon$bay

-----
You can put in a long form claim. Document your payments to NCO and what is still owed. I think you'll do fine.

-----
I'm in the exact same position. Got a call from the very unprofessional NCO today. Forgive my ignorance, but what is the long form claim?

<Boberto>,
O.k..What this is saying is.
If when you filed your claim and you opted for the check. Then you will receive a check by the end of this month.
Ive already verified that. So did you opt for a check?
I recieved an email that i would be paid back in September...

I am curious about something. I opened a new paypal account and received notice that I was considered high risk because I was selling gameboy cartridges. I spent over a week and hours on the phone verifying all the info they wanted...sent copies of my ss card, drivers lic to verify I was who I said I was. I had a verified checking account on the paypal account and a verified credit card. They then required that I wait until all the items I had been paid for on my account show with the tracking they had all been delivered. When that was all done and verified, I was sent a dear departing letter stating that I was still considered high risk because of what I was selling and they closed my account but put a hold for 180 days on $305 can they do this?
