<Disgruntled>, well here you are being treated like vermin before you even get started properly with PP - hard to believe that you're still hammering at the gates trying to get in.
This must be why PP can act like they do & not come to grief already.

Just to add to that, I spoke to PayPal on the phone and a woman from the resolution center resent the verification email so I can continue the verification process despite the account still saying "This limitation cannot be appealed against.".

Also I don't find the link anywhere for a fax cover sheet that PayPal are stating I should use that is relevant to my case ID.

I had opened an account with PayPal in Jan 2005. I spent some money on eBay but wanted to lift the £500 spending limit and have my account verified.

After going through all steps of the verification process a few weeks ago, I get an email stating they need more info. Here is a snippet of the email:

**********
We're sorry, but your account access limitation cannot be lifted at this
time. We need more information about your account before we can restore
full access to your account. Please complete the steps below so that we may
review your account further:

1. Fax a copy of your monthly statement for the credit card ending in 5082.
The statement must show your name, address and account number exactly as
they appear in your PayPal account.

2. Fax a copy of your monthly statement for the bank account ending in
3017. The statement must show your name, address and account number exactly
as they appear in your PayPal account.

3. Fax a copy of your driving licence/passport. Please make the copy of
this as large and as light as possible.
**********

Where it says "Fax a copy of your driving licence/passport" they want both faxed or 'either'?

The problem is, I thought I had completed verification and went away on holiday for 2 weeks because I had better things to do and read that email when I got back but when I got back and logged into my PayPal account it says: "This limitation cannot be appealed against."

Now this means I can't remove my bank account to use in another new PayPal account but my CC card has expired anyway and I have a new CC number.

What can I do?

Will PayPal definately not lift the limitation meaning my bank account details are stuck with this account?
