micklemas, Is the Richmond House address still in existance ?

I know that for a UK Small Claims Court claim, they have to be able to deliver the paperwork to a UK address. They're not fussy about what the office is (I successfully sued RyanAir by having the papers served on their Stanstead Airport reservations desk) but they insist that it's in the UK.

Plus, if Paypal get found to be at fault but don't pay up, if theres no UK office, you can't send the bailiffs around !

In the submission from EBAY Australia responding to the many objections against EBAY Australia only accepting PAYPAL.

From the ACCC website, is the following Objection and Response.

Objection: PayPal is not subject to regulation in other jurisdictions in which it operates.
Response: This is not true. PayPal is subject to the local laws of all countries in which it operates.

Yes, you can still Sue Paypal. I believe I may have set a precedent too.

Paypal will fob you off initially, by stating that all business in Luxembourg is not subject to UK law. Which is correct.

Now, the judge in my case, after receiving my full evidence, requested Paypal S.A.R.L to be a 3rd defendant.

At this point Paypals case collapsed, and yes my claim includes costs and interest :-)
