godsmacked,
I can understand why you are angry at what LowDown said.
However, it is ebay you should be angry at....
....since EBAY MAKES THIS POSSIBLE, due to the feedback change rules.
I know a bunch of people who are simply sick of ebay:
-randomly suspending ebay users
-not using any common sense
-now unfairly leveraging against sellers: combining SNP policies & the feedback changes.
-behaving like the Gestapo
-having a book as huge as Ullyses of b.s. policies
-pretending it is GOD's only online auction website
-discriminating against human beings
check out other selling websites that are more relaxed such as:
ioffer.com and onlineauction.com
The upside of the continuous abuse of human beings on ebay and its Gestapo is a chance for other auction and ecommerce websites to grow. Ebay never has and never will care about people, the nightmare for many is almost over, since ebay has now killed itself with the new feedback changes!!!

NDriver, I purchased an Item on Ebay the seller did not take paypal, i paid with a money order, it arrived damaged ( no wonder she did not take paypal), i filed a claim, and was pretty much told I did not purchse insurance, too bad. I sold an itewm, offered insurance, she chose not to buy it, chipping occurred in the bubble wrap ( I package everything well insured or not), she filed a claim thru paypal, they feavored her, when i questioned, i was told, insurance is for the sellers benfit. I hate double standards, she was told to return the itme at her expence for full refund, she never did. My guess is she has buyers remorse.

Try this with me and be certain I will be gently kicking your door in to be recompensed
Quote: With the new Feedback rules being implemented at ebay,
It is the perfect time to start getting something for nothing from ebay, while playing their own game.
(or at least what they are encouraging)
Rules:
1) Find item you would like to bid on
2) Place Bid on the item
3) Pay for and receive the item
4) Post negative Feedback
5) Have Seller issue refund
6) Retract Feedback if you want
The above method will actually cause 2 effects.
1) You stand a excellent chance of getting your item(s) for FREE!
2) This will also cause ebay to eventually crumble if enough buyers follow this practice,
As sellers will eventually stop using ebay once they realize they can not make a living in this environment.
If you use the Pay Pal service you can easily prove item was paid for removing any unpaid item strikes.
If any are even incurred.
Most sellers are so relived to have a negative strike removed I think you will find very few even reporting a item as unpaid.
Especially when they know they have issued the refund, Keeping your account fairly safe.
Although I do not necessarily endorse getting something for nothing,
With ebays new Feedback system, you are playing within the rules they have set.

LowDown,
Why don't you just tell everyone how to steal from sellers, some sellers are trying to make a living and people like you are making it increasingly hard,
You are not incouraging people to steal from ebay but from businesses - honest sellers trying to earn a living , do you really think ebay give a toss? anyone thinking of doing this WILL BE commiting a crime - THEFT!
Idiot!
lets hope no one ever does this to you!
