fuzzy,
Instead of writing a letter back or calling them. What if I just send them back the letter they sent me with the words Deceased Return to Sender on the envelope?

sunder,
Does this still work. I recently received a letter from a collection agency saying I owned ebay money. Is there any updated advice?

kocki2309,
They can do NOTHING.
Read around here and do a search using the term "NCO".
The topics will come up for you.
See the little "Search" Link in the upper right side of this page?
Hope this helps.

When you do get a letter from the debt collection eBay sell the debt off to, simply call the number on the card they sent you, and tell them that you have NEVER had a Paypal account.
Deny ANY association with the account, and that will be the last you will hear of this 'debt'.
This procedure has been tried and tested over the last 6 months, and I can assure you it works!
