bemmer97403, time to make a stance pepole, time is here to put paypal out of commiton. i am starting up a new class action lawsuit, am tring to get fellow paypaler to join in on task of taking down the ugly giants as i call them, email me at bemmer97403@yahoo.com if you too want to stop them. i have listed the law firm that is best at dealing with paypal, they have won before with paypal, and paypal is afarid of them, with good reason.

justice-served, She likes to brag, so what. She also talks like she's 21. I've gotten a hummer in the driveway before too, but I don't brag about it. :D They don't give a crap about your credit either, L_AND_B. They just want to be able to take your money and stick it in an interest bearing account. How do you think PayPal makes their money? 180 days is a lot of time to hold onto $5000 when they are making interest on it. Multiply that by a million accounts for example and you have 6 months of interest on 1,000,000 accounts, why do you think they are putting holds on so many accounts? In the long run - thats a hell of a lot of money! Good credit, bad credit, they don't care, they want your money to make money. Yeah they may release funds after 180 days, but not before gaining 6 months of interest on your money first.

With paypal there are no guarantees except that if you bend over they will give it to you how they like. My hubby has perfect feedback on ebay, had no buyer complaints on paypal and they limited his acct because they needed additional information. We had to pay $55.00 to fax copies of receipts from the store from all last year to prove we had what we sold. They asked 4 his SS# and ran a check or so they say and closed his account saying that there was "excessive risk" Funny thing is we were just approved for yet another home loan and have a brand new hummer in the driveway we were approved for last year. Plus my hubby makes over $1000.00 a week at work and has excellent credit, so I dont think they even check credit. Because if they did, we would have access to the $3700.00 in our paypal acct.

So are you saying that another option is to comply with their request to let them run my credit? And then what? Is there a guarantee that the limit will be lifted?

not unless all issues in the resolution centre are resolved (pink box with issues in them). Unless you do that, theres no way of getting money out of there - money is frozen forever (as far as I know).
